Gather wilful servants by enslaving varied tribes –
Collect trinkets to enhance your fighters in unique ways –
The game heavily aims to capture that old-school RTS feeling:
Brute pathing: Every unit pathfinds individually. No unit blobs and no pushing other units out of the way
Brute targeting: Every unit targets individually. No overkill prevention
Brute casting: Every command is executed by all units that receive it
You can expect a few modern features such as:
Infinite selection size
Select-All-Army hotkey
Select-All-Production hotkey, incl. setting rally point
The game is wholly designed with these capabilities in mind and will often give good reason to not move the whole army at once.
HyperCoven plays like an RTS, but production of units is automatic.
Capture different Coven which summon troopers for you to send into battle.
Each trooper has up to 7 different attributes that can be enhanced with trinkets found in the world and buildings erected in base.
The Campaign spans 10 hand-crafted missions and a tutorial.
Conquest Mode is about venturing out to conquer the whole (randomized) world, as you would venture into a dungeon.
Invasion Mode is a take on the "wave defense" idea, the world is more sparse, but extra-dimensional invaders are warping in and drop valuable items.
Multiplayer Co-Op available for Invasion and Conquest.
Multiplayer PvP action on over 10 different maps. A plethora of options to customize your match between try-hard and super random.
Multiplayer netcode is optimised for latency and does not propagate lag between players. If one participant has a bad connection, the match still runs smoothly for everyone else.
